Today we pause… not just as a restaurant, but as a family.
Easter is a reminder of sacrifice, love, and redemption.
A reminder that even after the darkest moments… there is always a way forward.
Jesus gave His life for us — and through Him we are given grace, strength, and the chance to rise again.
And that’s exactly what this season means to me.

Vamilia ❤️
At the end of January, I lost Vamos Portuguese Restaurant.
What we built together over the past few years was never just a restaurant. It was a home for our community. A place where birthdays were celebrated, friendships were made, families gathered, and memories were created over plates of Portuguese food made with heart.
Serving the Helderberg community was one of the greatest honours of my life.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you to every single person who walked through those doors, supported us, and became part of the Vamilia.
Losing Vamos has broken my heart. I built it from the ground up with nothing but belief, hard work, and the support of this incredible community.
But I am not ready to give up.
The love for the food, the hospitality, and the community is still very much alive in me.
So today I’m reaching out to my almost 4000 loyal followers and friends with a simple request:
If you know of:
• A restaurant that is struggling and needs strong leadership
• An investor looking to partner in the hospitality space
• A venue that needs an experienced operator with a proven concept
• Or any opportunity where I can bring my Portuguese cuisine, hospitality experience, and loyal following back to Helderberg

Vamilia… my heart is full this morning. ❤️🇵🇹
I just want to say thank you — for the love, the support, the kindness, the memories, the conversations, the laughs, the meals shared, and the way you’ve carried us through this journey.
Today is our last day, and the girls and I will be at Vamos to spend these final moments with the people who made this place what it was. It’s a school night, so we’ll keep things gentle and not too late — but we’d truly love to see you, share a hug, a smile, or a quiet goodbye.
What we built here was never just a restaurant.
It was community. It was family. It was Vamilia.
Please keep an eye on this page — new things are coming, and this is not the end of the road. I will never give up. I believe deeply in what’s ahead.
