The Alma Cafe Market is on till 1pm today and customers have donned me, "the Pork Pie Guy". We have people entering the market saying " We are looking for the pork pie guy..." We have stock that is moving fast. Come down to the market before 1pm and get your scrumptious treat. it goes brilliantly with our Bavarian mustard.

Happy Thursday. some like to throw it back on a Thursday we are throwing it forward...preparations for Saturdays Alma Café Market are in full swing. Last week we SOLD OUT of our pork pies so we are baking feverishly to make sure we have a big supply. Oliver and Sophie are helping me make our pate's and we have great family meals at the ready for you and your family. How about a great curry for this overcast day? We are in the throws of creating dishes for our summer menu. Oliver and Sophie have been helping me cook up some fabulous options. Last night Oliver said that he wanted to create a dish for the menu "all on my (his) own, Dad. No help please" so for my dinner i had a 'Parsley Pancake" made with a good helping of garlic and cheese. Mum was served a 'Nut surprise pancake" which had cardamom, coriander seeds, almonds, cashews and mustard seeds...Not sure they will make it onto the upcoming Summer Menu but if you have ideas of items you would like to see on the menu, comment below.
