Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffea species. From the coffee fruit, the seeds are separated to produce a stable, raw product: unroasted green coffee.

The Racing Bean Coffee Company was inspired by our love for coffee and the history of the Cafe' Racer motor cycle. A club of motor cyclists would race from cafe' to cafe' hence the name, The Cafe' Racer. We would love to bring back the tradition of the true origin behind the Cafe' Racer which inspired our name "The Racing Bean Coffee Co."

To reach the coffee shop and cafe in Cape Town, visitors can take public transportation by boarding any of the available buses or trains that stop at Cape Town station. From there, they can walk north towards the main road until they reach a corner with a large building complex. They can then follow the road westwards until they see a small coffee shop on the left side of the road.

Alternatively, for those driving themselves, they can take N2 from anywhere in Cape Town and exit at Nelson Mandela Boulevard. From there, drive towards Hatfield Street and take a right turn onto Roeland street. Drive along Roeland street until you reach Harrington street and turn left onto it. The coffee shop is located on your left-hand side just a little way down from this intersection.

Parking is available on most streets around the coffee shop and cafe area but visitors should be wary of peak times when parking space might be limited.
