Days away from handing back the keys and walking away from this beautiful space. It’s been an emotional week shutting down this eating house.
Only incredible special memories etched in me.
I really want to thank everyone that had a part to play in Fire Monkey. From our incredible landlords at Faircape Group for their understanding and love through this time ❤️ To all the staff that worked so hard and made Fire Monkey a special experience ❤️ To all our suppliers for doing what you ❤️

Just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the messages and calls about the closure of Fire Monkey.
After sitting with yesterdays emotions it really took part of the heaviness away.
For now please support Cheyne's , Lucky Bao and Ding D**g.
We will be incorporating a few of Fire monkeys dishes onto our delivery menu over the week.

With a broken heart we have unplugged and will be shutting down this beautiful operation 💔
I am still trying to digest what emotions will come but we tried our best, gave our best and above all we worked with love.
Thank you to everyone that supported us in the short journey had.

To get to Intaba in Claremont using public transport, you can take the train to Claremont Station and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach your destination. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Claremont Main Road and then walk for about 5 minutes.
If you prefer to drive, you can take the M3 highway and exit at the M4/Wynberg off-ramp. Continue on Campground Road and turn left onto Protea Road. Finally, turn right onto Intaba Avenue where you will find parking available nearby.
