Hi, I’m Faith! 👋🏾
My mother taught me that food is love, and I’ve carried that with me into every kitchen. In 2016 I started Nande’s Kitchen in Langa, named after my daughter, Nande. Three generations, one table. ❤️
I cook proudly South African food with a taste of the world, made with fresh local ingredients and a lot of heart. And every plate does more than feed you: it creates jobs for young people and gives back to our community.

Responsibilities I find myself constantly balancing my job, my family, and my local community lately.
It is honestly amazing how much energy I can pour into these areas when it all comes down to love. Whether I am grinding at home or spending quality time at home with my favourite people , everything feels so meaningful.
Contributing to the community really shows me how interconnected our lives are through simple acts of kindness.
I am truly grateful for every connection that reminds me why I put in the effort every single day.
Balancing it all can be a wild journey, but love always makes the hard work worth it in the end!

We are so incredibly grateful! On behalf of the whole Nande's Kitchen team, a massive thank you to Ciki Graceland Cafe and Sedfa for the chance to host a stall at such a magical Heritage Day celebration at Guga S'Thebe.
To our amazing community and the customers who showed up—we’re blown away by your support! It was such a beautiful space to honor our roots, celebrate township businesses, and feel the strength of our community. You’ve shown us that unity is our greatest treasure. We love you all! There’s nothing quite like sharing a warm fatkoek with friends, colleagues, and family to fill our hearts with pure happiness.
This delicious moment is a true blessing, reminding us that the simplest food is often the greatest expression of love. Preparing this meal for A33 capetown brings me endless joy and peace as we gather to support one another.
