The “Fat Lady’s Arms” will be closing its doors on Friday the 28th.
We would like to thank everyone that has shared this journey with us. So many names and faces that are indelibly imprinted in our history, creating wonderful memories from McGregor.
However, Andre and myself have decided to say goodbye to our home for the past 18 years and start a new life at our beloved second home by the sea.
Saying goodbye is always hard to put into words, so a quote from the man…

To get to Voortrekker Road in Cape Town via public transportation, you can take a train and get off at the Bellville Station. You can then walk towards Voortrekker Road, which is around 200 meters away from the station.
Alternatively, you can also take a bus or a taxi that passes through Voortrekker Road and ask the driver to drop you off there.
If you're driving, you can reach Voortrekker Road via the N1 highway. Take exit 8 for Durban Road towards Bellville and continue straight until you reach Voortrekker Road. There are several parking options available along the road, including street parking and parking lots.
