Pizza Hut Kenilworth, a popular pizza place and food delivery service, was the epitome of an innovative and engaging dining experience when it first opened in May 1958. Founded by Dan and Frank Carney in Wichita, Kansas, these entrepreneurs, along with their friends Richard Beemer and John Bender, created a 550-square-foot restaurant where they made the pizzas themselves. The community quickly embraced this informal eating establishment, which offered high-quality food and fostered a lively atmosphere. Pizza Hut's claim to fame was its famous "Pan Pizza" - a thicker crust made in deep pans that captured the hearts of pizza lovers around the world. Located on Doncaster Road in Access Park, Cape Town, Pizza Hut Kenilworth became synonymous with delivering some of the best pizzas on earth.
