MARK SPECIAL our newest addition 😭 This pizza is named after a long standing customer as a little tribute and thnx! We wish we could take credit for this master piece but its been Mark's standing order for about 18 months.
Bacon, salami, feta, balsamic caramelised onions, topped with avo 🥓🥑 Eat it. It's delicious.

For the FIRST time since we opened, "The Archie" was the most ordered pizza this weekend. I mean, nonstop. 😂
This pizza is one of our original six pizzas, my dad's favourite (although he likes a bit of fresh tomato). Topped with Mexican mince, jalapenos, green pepper and mushrooms 🍕

Since Sunday's family meeting, I've been glued to social media keeping eyes on our industry, baring witness to the devastating ripple effects of level4. BUT, and now keep reading, I've also seen the beauty of human beings in acts of kindness and support from one stranger to another. Here are just a few examples:
🤎 Strangers offering to drive and deliver for restaurants for free after a full days work.
🤎 The public asking to purchase restaurants left over stock for groceries to prevent waste and provide income.
🤎 Individuals creating initiatives to support out of work waiters and waitresses.
🤎 Soup kitchens and the like to feed those out of work.
🤎 Social media platforms offering free advertising for take away and delivery services.
I hope these fives acts of kindness have given you a little hope, as they did for me. If you have been a part of or seen other acts, please share below! I'd love to hear them.

Its been a hot minute since we posted a picture of our pizzas, and boy have we come a LONG way. 😍🍕 I thought of doing a video of "all the things I wish I knew before opening a pizza business", but the list seems endless 😂 So in the meantime, here are a few:
1. TEST. We tested but I mean test. Test it over and over again and when you think you've got it right, test it 10 more times after that. 1 year in and our crusts finally puff like they're meant too 😭
2. GET A DAMN HOT BOX from the START. No matter how fast we are, we can't beat the cold (we opened in winter). 🙈
3. YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA GAME MATTERS. There's too much to say on this one and I'm still learning. 🥰
4. NOT EVERY IDEA THAT POPS INTO YOUR TINY BRAIN IS WORTH IT. I'm referring to this testing thing again. 🤦🏻♀️
5. BUT, sometimes you have to run before you can walk. It's how you learn. 🤎

Alternatively, you can drive along the M3 towards Newlands Avenue and look for available parking spots near the area. From there, take a short walk towards where the pizza place is located.
