To get to Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town, you have a few options for public transport and driving/parking:
Public Transport:
1. MyCiTi Bus: Take the MyCiTi bus from various locations in Cape Town to the Civic Centre station. From there, transfer to the Airport Express bus (route A01) which will take you directly to the airport.
2. Metrorail: Catch a train from Cape Town Station to the airport's dedicated station, called "Cape Town International Airport." Trains run regularly, but be sure to check the schedule beforehand.
Driving/Parking:
If you prefer to drive or take a taxi, follow these directions:
From Cape Town city center:
1. Get on N2 highway heading east.
2. Continue on N2 for approximately 15 kilometers.
3. Take Exit 16 for M10/Vanguard Drive toward Bonteheuwel.
4. Keep right at the fork and merge onto Vanguard Drive (M10).
5. Follow signs for Cape Town International Airport and merge onto Airport Approach Road.
6. Continue straight until you reach the airport entrance.
Parking options at Cape Town International Airport include short-term and long-term parking areas located near the terminals. Follow the signs within the airport premises for available parking spaces.
