Sometimes there are challenging deliveries, with the erratic Cape Town weather and cakes that just test your nerves to make sure you’re ready for an adventure of a morning. This was one of those moments - but it looked stunning, and thanks to the fantastic venue, kitchen staff and a perfectly chilled walk in cooler - the bride was super happy and tastebuds were perfectly satisfied. And that’s a SUCESS in my book!

Loved how mom and dad carefully thought out and planned this milestone celebration ensuring no one was left out, and their little princess” first birthday was captured so beautifully - who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too 🤷‍♀️

It was that time of year to celebrate Adam once again. And his imagination and interests never fail to test my creativity and skills!

Adam had a specific cake in mind, and a specific bike, and a specific request 😃

The bike must be fondant! Mom and I had a bit of a sweat - but if my little clients can dream it, I’m committed to delivering it 🙌🏻

Adam got his fondant bike complete with edible rails, ramps and tracks and all the details of original inspiration image.

Looking so forward to next years challenge!
