Helderberg Cake Boutique is a must-visit bakery and cupcake shop in Cape Town. They specialize in creating bespoke cakes for all your events, including themed cakes, standard cakes, themed cupcakes, and decorating kits. Their attention to detail is evident in every creation they make.
One of their recent creations was the DJ Sound Desk cake, which was a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and an all-chocolate edible topper with some royal icing details. The best part? No fondant! This makes it so much nicer to eat.
They also offer cookie decorating kits for Father's Day, where kids can create personalized yummy treats to spoil their dads. These kits are priced at R200 per kit for the options pictured. If you want a personal message added to your kit, just chat with them about it.
Their cupcake bouquets make lovely gifts too! They recently posted one that went out yesterday and it looked amazing.
If you're looking for something different, try their "vla koek" sisters - fluffy vanilla layers filled with creamy custard or custard and caramel topped with caramel-coated popcorn. These are available in 20cm and 15cm options.
And if you're a gamer or know someone who is, Helderberg Cake Boutique can create cookies with any theme you like! Just like when a client asked them to make cookies with the Destiny video game theme.
Lastly, don't miss out on their Smores Brownies deal - buy 12 and get 6 Rice Krispie Treats free this week! Click on the link provided in their social media bio to order.
