We would like to share our closing dates for the festive season. Our Mill & Press stores will close on Friday the 19th December 2025 and re-open on Monday 5 January 2026.

Please note we will be closed on Tuesday 16 December (Day of Reconciliation) for the public holiday. ☝️ With only a few days left before we close to order one of your favorite breakfast/lunch items OR beverages, don't miss out!

Dear friend, neighbour, community

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share Yolanda’s story:
Her home at 24591 Ikhostina Street, Bardale, Mfuleni, Cape Town, SA was tragically destroyed by a fire on Saturday, 22 February 2025.

Yolanda was at work during this time and sadly lost everything, and is now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding her home. We are grateful that Lilo her 12 year old son was unharmed during the incident.
On behalf of the Mill & Press Café we are humbly asking for your support as she navigates this difficult time. Yolanda is our longest standing employee at The Mill & Press Café. She’s been with us since we opened 10 years ago. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping her and Lilo get back on their feet and provide a safe place for the two of them to call home.
