Have you ever bitten into a pie and thought, gosh, this pastry is lekker? Or thought, hmm, pastry nuh uh, Id rather just buy some?
Well this post is for you and anyone else. It takes 3 minutes, yes, just 3 minutes to make!
This basic recipe can be added to or adapted for your specific requirements eg gluten/lactose/plant-based etc.
Enjoy and if this post receives enough interest I'll post a traditional pork pie full recipe using this recipe - South African style!

To reach Camp Street Gardens in Cape Town, take the Metrorail train to Cape Town Station and then transfer to the MyCiTi bus system. Take the 102 or 103 bus towards Sea Point and get off at the Kloof Nek stop. From there, walk east on Camp Street until you reach the gardens.
If you are driving, take the M62 (Kloof Nek Road) towards Camps Bay. Turn onto Camp Street and continue until you reach the gardens. Parking is available on nearby streets or in a paid parking lot across from the gardens.
