If you're looking to get to Beach Road in Strand, there are a few options available for public transportation. If taking the train, you can take the train to Strand station and then walk east down Beach Road until you reach your destination. There are also several buses that run through Strand which can drop you off along Beach Road.
If driving, coming from Cape Town, take the N2 highway towards Somerset West and then take the Strand turnoff onto Broadway Boulevard. Follow this road until it turns into Beach Road and continue straight until you reach your destination. There is street parking available along Beach Road as well as a parking lot nearby.
