Hoping everyone had a lovely Christmas 🥰 some updates:
Baking has been placed more on the back burner as I’ve been in America building my flower farming / floral design business. I still bake on occasion for charity- I think I just like making people feel special and loved and flowers, baking, and work in the disability sector all allow me to do that. Here’s a white chocolate / cranberry cheesecake that’s totally sugar- and gluten-free so we’ll see if I can hold off on taking a slice till New Year’s 😅
My flower business page is , where you can follow my work 😊
I am hoping to return to Cape Town in Jan (pending regulations) to take some classes / workshops in floral design and continue some classes for small business management. I’ll continue to bake because it makes me happy 💞 If anyone has contacts in the floral design /weddings and event flower industry and knows anyone who would be looking for an unpaid intern/apprentice please let me know 🤞🏼💐
Hope you see you soon, Cape Town , you still have my ❤️

When I was a little girl I grew up in my parent’s greenhouse flower business and wanted to be an art teacher 🌸🎨 I have missed painting and drawing while being in Cape Town, but am so thankful to have found a new medium to create joy with 💕🌱🍓 this is probably my favorite birthday cake I’ve made so far, because looking at it makes me happy 🥰 Sometimes life isn’t so kind to us, and being away from home isn’t easy, but the feeling of making someone feel happy and special with something you’ve made by hand can be so wonderful. I hope everyone’s weekend is filled with joy and sweetness and art💛 @ Claremont, Cape Town
