✨ An evening of elegant canapés at the British High Commission Residence ✨
Sunday evening was a truly special occasion for Ambrosia Catering as we had the honour of catering for 80 distinguished guests at the British High Commission Residence in Bishopscourt.
Our canapé menu was designed to feel generous, refined, and full of flavour — from Sticky Korean Chicken Poke Bowls and Mini Beef Wellingtons to Panko Prawns, BBQ Steak Skewers, Spinach & Feta Phyllo Triangles, and beautifully finished sweet treats including Red Velvet & Cream Cheese Marbled Brownies and White Chocolate Mousse Shot Glasses.
Every tray served through the room was created with care, balance, and the Ambrosia touch — elegant food, beautifully presented, for a memorable Cape Town evening.

As the sun slipped gently behind Cape Town’s skyline on Wednesday evening, we had the pleasure of creating an intimate Sunset Canapés & Bubbles experience for 12 guests from the beautiful Oceania Vista Cruise Ship.
There is something rather magical about serving delicate little bites as the sea breeze drifts through the air and the city begins to glow in golden light. Our roasted butternut & feta tarts with sweet onion marmalade disappeared almost instantly, while the smoked Franschhoek trout roses, resting on crisp potato and spring onion rosti, brought that lovely balance of richness and freshness we adore so much.
The springbok crostini with cranberry jam offered a deliciously Cape Town touch, alongside creamy camembert crostini paired with red onion marmalade, artisanal cheeses, fresh seasonal fruits, delicate sushi rolls, and chilled bubbles poured generously as the evening unfolded.
Good food has a way of turning moments into memories — especially when shared beneath an iconic Cape Town sunset.

Sunset Canapés & Bubbles on top of Signal Hill ✨
Last Friday, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of catering for 100 guests from the Regent Mariner Cruise Ship — with Cape Town glowing below and sunset settling beautifully over Signal Hill.
Delicate bites included roasted butternut & feta tarts with onion marmalade, Franschhoek trout roses on crisp rosti, springbok crostini with cranberry, and creamy camembert with sweet red onion marmalade — each one a delicious little moment to savour.
Served with sparkling bubbles, fresh juices and mineral water, the afternoon felt effortless, elegant and beautifully indulgent.
