Our new winter dish is Low & Slow Lamb & Bkeila. 🧡
Lindy’s grandad, who barely spoke English, used to say “no makeup” when it came to food. What he meant was simple, let the flavour of the meat speak for itself.
That’s why we spend hours roasting our lamb, letting the flavour speak for itself. 🍖

Cooked, located on Dock Road in Cape Town, is a restaurant and cafe that serves up delicious food made with love and memories of family, sharing, and generosity. The kiosk is situated at Shop B3, Ground Level, V&A Waterfront, between Woolworths & Willoughby's. Cooked offers a variety of scrumptious pies made with homemade flaky pastry filled with breakfasty deliciousness that will keep you warm during the colder months. Their daily bakes are creative and always changing so you never know what delicious treats they have whipped up for the day. One of their popular dishes is the broccoli, caramelised onion and cheese frittata which is simply yum! Cooked also has a new mouth-watering lamb burger on a brioche bun with their in-house mustard aioli, pickles and trimmings served with a side of chips and their in-house tomato sauce. The cheese & broccoli phyllo pastry is also worth trying out. With such attention to detail and care put into every dish by Ishmael himself, it's no wonder why Cooked has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
