Competition
Context - yesterday there was a daddies race day at Oakland Academy Independent School & naturally there just had to be THAT person whom made it "memorable"🙂↔️🤣!
So I thought lets turn this "oopsie" into a competition for you (good laughs & good food being the idea)
This restaurant manager (won't mention names😜) weighs almost 100kg & is pushing 45 years old, clearly in no shape to run🤓 (the things we do for our daughters yes🥰)
I always tell people the "boopie" is the quality control factory🤣.

Having a friendly bit of banter at the restaurant tonight, so we had all the waitrons write "Enjoy" on the TA pasta lids (if you've ordered a TA pasta and seen Enjoy on it, its hand written mense! Now we need your help to choose a winner. Vote for your favorite "Enjoy" by commenting the letter on the pic you like and you too could stand a chance to win a little something delicious from Ashley's.
All those who vote, are entered into the lucky draw. One vote per person.

Its been a crazy few days. We hope that you and your loved ones came through this weather safely and full of energy, ready to show that Cape Towns people are strong, compassionate, resilient and enduring. The Mother City and her people will stand strong and shine their light through their hearts and souls.
Thank you once again for your understanding and compassion towards not only our restaurants closure these last 2 days, but many other like minded businesses too.
We will be trading as per normal starting today.

Our thoughts and prayers goes out to everyone effected by this storm disaster. Some of us are blessed to be able to be safe in houses, but there are thousands, if not millions of people whom do not have such security and "comfort". The very least we can do is keep our employees and guests safe by closing the restaurant today again and hope for some relief tomorrow. We ask for your understanding during this challenging time and thank you for your overwhelming support. We are blessed through you and promise when we are able to, we will welcome you and your families back with open arms and all the love you have come to expect from Ashley's Family restaurant.
Please stay safe and compassionate. Not all heros wear capes yes, anyone that makes a positive change to someone else's life is a hero, and we should all strive to be heros...its in all of us.

SOMETHING WHOLESOME AND WARM FOR TODAY...
Every morning I wrap my girls in blankets for the car ride to school. This morning my little one tells me "Dwaddy, you take bwankie, you wet. I wuf you!"🥹🥹🥹 Heart melted. THANK YOU MY ANGEL. Daddy loves you more and the bwankie is heaven sent.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

On my way to work this this morning, I found myself clearing debris out the road for other road users & nearly got knocked over in the process🫡🫡🫡. There's no ways that anyone should be on the road or outside the safety of their homes.
