My name is Nico, next to me is my wife Anlo and our little slice Ella. We own Die Meelhuis and we run a pizza stall on Saturdays and Sundays and we do mobile pizza and smash burger catering. I left my full time job as a head chef in Stellenbosch about 7 months ago to build my own business.
Until today we’ve been fortunate enough to open another stall where we cook the best SMASH BURGERS you will ever have, we have 3 staff member who alternate between the two stalls, we have a little mobile pizza van that does all the heavy lifting and dirty work for us.
This picture was taken this past weekend when the family surprised me at work. We are all so grateful for all the support and for every single one of you that has patiently waited in lines for both our pizzas and our smash burgers 🍕🍔
When you wait in line at Die Meelhuis for a kick ass pizza or a juicy crispy smash burger you are not supporting a large franchise but you are supporting a small business with a really really amazing product, a happy and loving family and just plain and simply supporting people who want to put smiles on the faces of every single one of you who eats our product or just people who simply walks past and says hello ❤️❤️🔥
Catch us at the market, don’t be scared to come and say hello ☺️ we love to chat , if we are really busy we will still have a chat and a laugh but it will affect the people waiting for pizzas 😂🍕 sorry not sorry!
