This will create much needed jobs within our struggling economy in RSA but seems hellbent on ignoring this fact.
The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development has declared the use of product names (such as burger, steak, sausage, biltong, nuggets, ribs, and boerewors) reserved for meat products and illicit by processors, importers, and retailers of meat analogues.
As Jason Bell writes in his latest article(link below), on the matter, industries such as the plant-based industry are disrupters and serve to play a massive role in igniting rapid and necessary changes in undynamic industries for the good of the environment and consumers…
Follow the debate on our twitter feed and help the plant-based industry flourish in SA. Because if they win in one country it’s only a matter of time until they win in yours.
