Topped & Tiered Topped & Tiered is a small part-time bakery and cupcake shop located on Leo Road. They specialize in custom orders, requiring customers to place their orders at least a week in advance with all the final details decided. Cancelling an order should be done two days in advance, and payment can be made by cash on collection, dropped off, or eft beforehand. All orders must be collected from the stated address and during designated collection times. Additional add-ons or extras may incur an extra cost. Topped & Tiered can accommodate orders of 10 cupcakes or more but cannot cater for any less. Their delicious cakes and freshly baked cupcakes are sure to please any sweet tooth.

The last cake I made before I closed for the year. Also my page disappeared for nearly 2 months and somehow reappeared not too long ago that's why I couldn't post this mediocre photo sooner (because of the bread in the background😂).
The cake wasn't mediocre though.. it's a naked cake, obviously with various red flowers and rustic topic. 🤗

Since a lot of people have enquired about naked cakes recently I've decided to mention on my page that the starting price is R350.00 for a single cake with 2 kind of decorations which usually include artificial flowers (fresh flowers cost too much and could end up costing more than the cakes worth). It also includes a standard topper with standard "sayings". The price could vary depending on the kind of decorations you require for the cake. It is a 4 layered vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. It can serve up to 16 people or more depending on how you decide to cut it.

To make decorating easy and less wasteful it's easier to just buy your primary colours and experiment.

I had a little workshop on how to decorate cupcakes... giving tips on how to easily mix multiple colours in one piping bag, what kind of colouring/nozzles to use, how to make sure the consistency tastes and looks good & most importantly how to hold the piping bag! 😁😁
The first two in the first photo is what I did to show the class .. and two next to mine was tried out by the others.. (we about 50 cupcakes but our hands were too sticky to get photos of all)
And next photo was sent to me by someone that attended the workshop and used her newly gained skills to make these cute cupcakes for her daughter's birthday!
