To reach Military Road in Steenberg, take the M3 highway towards Muizenberg and exit at the Steenberg off-ramp. If you are driving, turn onto Steenberg Road and take a left onto Military Road. There is street parking available in front of the restaurants.
For those using public transport, take the train to Retreat station and from there take a taxi or bus to Military Road. Alternatively, take a bus that stops near Military Road and walk to your destination.
