On October 16, World Food Day, the Climate Justice Charter Movement, South African Food Sovereignty Campaign and allies march to Parliament, calling on government to put South Africa on a Climate Emergency footing.

Faith has always been part of this struggle. People of faith across South Africa have stood for the sanctity of creation and the protection of our common home. As El Niรฑo looms, caring for our planet and our neighbour means acting now, together.

A deep just transition is a matter of justice for all life, human and non-human, and for the generations to come. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
