Hi Friends, Please join The Blacksmith Forge, Conrad and Leo Hicks, on Thursday the 14 June 2018 at 18:00 , at THE BIJOU, 178 LOWER MAIN RD, OBSERVATORY, CAPE TOWN , for a preview the hanforged 4 x 6 meter Copper Acacia Tree before it is shipped off to its permanent home.The copper was all forged from 12 x 140mm flat bar in order to get the hammered leaf curls and the trunk from found bar.

1. From Cape Town International Airport: Get on Settlers Way/N2 from Airport Approach Rd, and continue on N2. Take De Waal Dr/M3 and Rhodes Dr/M63 to Liesbeek Pkwy/M57 in Mowbray. Take exit 8 from M3. Follow Liesbeek Pkwy/M57 and Station Rd/M58 to Lower Main Rd in Observatory.

2. From Cape Town CBD: Head southeast on Darling St toward Parade St/Riebeeck Square, then turn left onto Parade St/Riebeeck Square. Continue onto Darling St, then turn right onto Sir Lowry Rd/M4. Continue straight onto Victoria Rd/M4, then turn left onto Station Rd/M58. Finally, turn right onto Lower Main Rd.
