Handcrafted, small-batch, made right here in Cape Town.
Every bar that goes out is made with intention — not mass-produced, not stretched thin. We're still early in this journey, and every comment, share, and bit of feedback genuinely helps us grow.
Thank you for being part of this from the ground up.
If you've tried the bar already, what would you tell a friend about it?

Between appointments. On the way to gym. In the car before school pickup.
We built this bar for the moments when you need something real but don't have time to prepare it. Activated chia, natural ingredients, no compromise on what goes in just because life is moving fast.
Healthy doesn't have to mean inconvenient.
What's the snack moment in your day that always sneaks up on you?

Most of us aren't getting enough fibre in a day — and chia is one of the easiest ways to close that gap.
A small serving carries a meaningful amount of fibre, which supports digestion and helps you feel fuller for longer. That's a big part of why our bar works as a between-meals snack rather than just another sugar hit.
Simple ingredients, doing their job quietly.
Do you keep an eye on your fibre intake, or is it something that flies under the radar for you?

Ever wondered what "activated" actually means?
Activation is simply soaking the seeds before they're used. It softens them, makes them easier on digestion, and helps your body access more of what's already inside the seed — the fibre, the minerals, the good fats.
It's an old practice, not a new trend. We just kept doing it because it works.
Had you heard of activated seeds before today, or is this new to you? say hi in the chats so we do know you know.

Meet the seed behind the bar: chia.
It's small, it's been around for thousands of years, and it's the quiet engine inside every Anwah's Activated Seed Bar. We activate it (more on that soon), pair it with other honest ingredients, and turn it into something you can actually grab on a busy day.
No shortcuts. No additives doing the heavy lifting. Just real food, made by hand, here in Cape Town.
What's the one ingredient you always check for on a label before you buy? 👇 comment bellow.

To everyone who has supported Anwah's Kitchen over the years — jazakallah khayran/ thank you. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.
We took some time away. But we never stopped thinking about how to bring you something worth coming back for.
Alhamdulillah, we think we've found it.
Something handcrafted. Something clean. Something that reflects the values this kitchen has always been built on.
We can't wait to share it with you properly. Watch this space — the story starts this week. 🤍
