Winter days don't get much better than this.
Table Mountain putting on a show. Springbok quietly grazing along the fairways. A spectacular winter weekend!
A view like this reminds us why we call Atlantic Beach home.
📸 Thank you Pete Fleming for sharing.

There's a stretch of court between the baseline and the net where more than tennis happens.
It's where a father learns his daughter has a better backhand than he does.
Where a group of kids too small for full-sized racquets still argue over every line call like it's Wimbledon.
Where a game of pickleball between old friends has been running so long nobody remembers who started it.
The courts fill differently depending on the hour: morning lessons, midday rallies, evening doubles, but the feeling never changes.
People keep showing up, not just for the game, but for each other.

That's a wrap on Holiday Club! 🎉
What a final week it's been: little hands built a Hot House with the Garden Club, small feet tackled obstacle courses and team challenges with Busyballers, budding stars showed their skills at Soccer and Hockey clinics with Sports Excellence, and aspiring artists picked up a brush for a spot of canvas painting, creative friendship bracelets and embellished bags with Paint & Pretzels.
From muddy hands to painted fingers to outdoor adventures, this holiday had it all. Roll on the next one!

The spirit of Mandela Day lives in simple acts of kindness.
Honouring this spirit with Soup for 67, warm, comforting soup and fresh rolls were shared with those in our community who help keep Atlantic Beach running every single day.
A small gesture. A heartfelt thank you. A reminder that kindness, gratitude and caring for one another are what community is all about.
Thank you to our residents, members and team who volunteered their time. Tata Madiba believed that everyone has the power to make a difference. May we all continue to carry that spirit forward.

Atlantic Boutique is nestled between the everyday errands and your wellness and beauty journey.
Everyone at Atlantic Beach knows it’s where you end up after the school run, before dinner plans, in the gap between one thing and the next.
Through their salon doors, the outside world quietens. The welcome is embracing; the therapists know your name. From lip to toe, your wellness is their priority, reminding you that taking time for yourself matters too.
Atlantic Boutique is exactly what it needs to be. The kind of place you find once and then keep going back to.

Six special visitors, one big message, and a room full of laughter and singing.
Gio, Kylee, Peter the Penguin, Sally the Seal, and friends Dolly the Dolphin, Bruce the Shark and Barlow the Clown Fish joined our Kids & Teens Holiday Club for a puppet show by Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation, sharing the "I Live Smart" message about looking after our ocean and leaving no litter behind.
Every child left with their own copy of the book, and a little more love for the beaches and sea.
This is what community looks like. 🌊🦭🐧

✨ A hidden treasure revealed!
Nature has surprised us with a very special sighting within our conservation area. For the first time, the Sand Tulip, also known as the Dune Cup (Peziza ammophila), has revealed itself at Atlantic Beach. 🌿
This fascinating cup fungus grows beneath the sand. As it gets older it emerges from the sand during winter and spring, and splits to form its distinctive cup shape.
Found growing on sand dunes, spotting one is a reminder why protecting the Strandveld biodiversity matters. By respecting and protecting our conservation areas, species like the Sand Tulip have the opportunity to thrive.

Nobody plans it, but somehow the whole of Atlantic Beach seems to wind down together. The fairways empty. The strandveld gardens go still. Cyclists have returned from a ride along our trails under a spectacular sunset, and a family's just walked home from the Clubhouse.
At The Lodge @ Atlantic Beach, you get to be part of that too. The same rhythm, the same closeness, the same sunsets that we call home.

Community. Connection. Belonging. These aren't just words we use at Atlantic Beach, they're why we started Home Ground.
In our first episode, Bruce Kaiser, Chairman of the Atlantic Beach HOA, shares stories from inside Atlantic Beach - the estate and Atlantic Beach Links club. When his wife once asked if he could retire anywhere in the world where would that be, his answer was simple: "Atlantic Beach".
That's the true meaning of home.
