Same three clubs, same small fix, worked through one more time, another quiet feature of the Atlantic Beach lifestyle.
The sound gives it away before you see it: that clean, flat click of ball off the club face, again and again, steady as a metronome.
Twenty-three bays run the length of the driving range, covered and open, with two short-game practice areas alongside for the shots and putts that actually save a scorecard. All for members, residents and booked visitors, part of everyday life at Atlantic Beach.
Milkwood Express is a short walk back for a refuel once the bucket's empty, close enough to catch before heading home.
Practice, mostly, is a private conversation with yourself. Out here, nobody's counting your strokes, just your reps.

Lunch or dinner, a wood-fired pizza among friends, sushi for those who know what they want before they sit down, and as the sky over the Atlantic Ocean starts to turn, Sunbird Restaurant's deck fills with people in no hurry to leave.
A few steps away at Milkwood Deli, the rhythm is different: a laptop opens next to a flat white, deli pastries worth lingering over, and, next door, an indoor play area keeping small hands busy while the grown-ups finish their thoughts.
Same clubhouse, two ways to spend your time, both looking out over the same mountain. A world of value.

**Travel Directions to Fairway Drive, Melkbosstrand**
**By Car:**
1. Start on the N1 highway heading towards Cape Town.
2. Take the exit for the N7 North toward Malmesbury.
3. Continue on the N7 for approximately 20 km.
4. Take the exit for R27 (West Coast Road) toward Table View/Melkbosstrand.
5. Follow R27 for about 10 km, then turn left onto Melkbosstrand Road.
6. Continue straight until you reach Fairway Drive; turn right to access your destination.
**Parking:** There is ample parking available in the area, including designated parking lots and street parking.
**By Public Transport:**
1. From Cape Town city center, take a MyCiTi bus from any of the main bus stops heading towards Table View.
2. Get off at the Table View station and transfer to a bus that goes to Melkbosstrand (Route 220).
3. Once you arrive in Melkbosstrand, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to Fairway Drive.
