AN EVENING WITH 1947 ON VILAKAZI
For one special night, 1947 on Vilakazi comes to 96 W**ery Road for an exciting pop-up dining experience in collaboration with Ken Forrester W**es.
Join us on Saturday, 10 October 2026 | 18h00 for 18h30 as we welcome owner Naomi, Chef Junior and Sommelier Skhu for an evening celebrating heritage, flavour and South African hospitality.
Expect a five-course menu featuring highlights such as Butternut & Carrot Velouté with biltong and atchar oil, Mozambique King Prawns, smoked Wagyu brisket with Korean BBQ sauce and kimchi rice, and a beautiful cheesecake dessert to finish, thoughtfully paired with w**es from Ken Forrester W**es.
