To reach Third Street in Cape Town by public transport, you can take the MyCiTi bus or the local minibus taxi. Simply board the bus or taxi that goes to Greenmarket Square and alight at the third stop. From there, walk straight on towards Third Street.
If you are driving to Third Street, find your way to Buitengracht Street and head towards the CBD. Turn left onto Lower Burg Street, continue for a few hundred meters and turn right onto Strand Street. After driving for approximately 300 meters, turn left onto Long Street and take another left onto Shortmarket Street. Continue straight ahead until you reach Third Street.
There is limited parking space on Third Street itself but you can find secure parking facilities nearby on Long or Shortmarket Streets.
