Here are some of our favourites:
1. Kimchi fried organic rice — two eggs, warm mushrooms, radish, crispy kale & sesame seeds 🥬
2. The Breakfast — two eggs any way, crispy bacon, a porky, mushrooms, tomato & toast. A classic 🫡
3. Hash eggs — toasted cauliflower, parmentier potatoes, peppers & spring onion with two poached eggs, topped with hollandaise 🍳
4. Croissant with strawberry jam 🍓
5. Huevos Rancheros — organic black beans slow-cooked in red wine, beer & smoked tomatoes on toast with two fried eggs, house-made queso fresco, pico de gallo, avocado & coriander 🫘
6. Fire eggs — two eggs in a tomato and chickpea stew baked with Swiss chard, aubergine, fresh herbs & toast 🍅

Very happy to introduce our ballo x Clarke’s peak caps. This 5 panel cut is made for ballo who have developed it over the past 12 years. The cotton is grown in South Africa, woven in Pietermaritzburg and then dyed, washed, stitched and embroidered in Cape Town. Brilliant quality and a great design, washes well.
Can be worn flat or curved. Available in store for R350.

The diner and cafe located on Bree Street in Cape Town can be easily accessed by public transport or by driving. For those using public transport, you can take the MyCiTi bus and get off at the nearest stop to Bree Street. From there, it's just a short walk to the diner and cafe.
