Hi there, my name is Steve, originally from Malawi, but have been at the Hussar Grill here in Franschhoek for nearly 5 years now and am well- known amongst our regular diners.

Not surprisingly...Steak is one of my favourite meals....especially the Ribeye or T-Bone cuts.

I am really passionate about my job, and love working with this great team and going the extra mile for my guests.

I am fluent in English, Swahili and Chichewa and in my spare time go to church regularly, but also love to go to the beach!

Be sure to say a big hello when you next visit Hussar Grill Franschhoek... serving the best steaks in town!

To reach the restaurant at Huguenot Road in Cape Town by public transport, one can take a bus or train to Cape Town station and then transfer to the Franschhoek shuttle which will drop visitors off near the location. Alternatively, one can also opt for a taxi service.

For those driving, take the N1 towards Paarl and exit onto the R45 towards Franschhoek. Turn right onto Main Road and continue until you reach Huguenot Road, where you will turn right again. There is parking available near the restaurant and on surrounding side streets.
