SOMETIMES, LESS REALLY IS MORE!

Over the weekend, we had the absolute honour of delivering this gorgeous Confirmation Cake for Haylee.

Made with rich chocolate cake and filled with my hybrid chocolate mousse buttercream. And guys, if I may say so myself, THAT BUTTERCREAM! It was absolutely delicious!

I really enjoyed creating this cake. There's something so beautiful about a simple, elegant design that doesn't need too much to make a statement. Sometimes, simplicity speaks volumes.

A heartfelt thank you to Haylee's dad and family for trusting Kitchen Something to be part of such a special milestone. Your support means more than you know!

BEHIND THE SCENES AT KITCHEN SOMETHING!

Today I was busy with an order and thought, “Let me quickly make a little reel while I work.”

Needless to say… I gave up! 🤣 Because who is holding a camera in one hand and trying to work with the other? Not me, my people!

But hey, practice makes perfect, and I WILL get the hang of this reel business eventually. One day I'll be baking AND filming like a pro. Today was clearly not that day!

For now, here's a little sneak peek of today's order. And listen, I'm no professional videographer, so please be kind!
