KAUAI is a health food restaurant and smoothie & juice bar that was founded by three Californian college friends. It is now operating under the multi-brand food group, Real Foods (Pty) Ltd, in South Africa. The mission of KAUAI is to provide healthy and nourishing salads, wraps, warm bowls, and nutrient-rich smoothies using fresh locally sourced whole ingredients that are free from added sugar, unhealthy fats, and preservatives. Everything on the menu has been carefully developed to bring out the naturally delicious flavors of its ingredients, including free-range chicken and eggs and whey protein sourced from grass-fed cows that are GMO-free. The focus is on real foods that are free of harmful synthetic chemicals. KAUAI also places importance on customer service excellence with their new slogan "Made Naturally," promising to deliver nothing but the very best in food and nutrition while maintaining a supply chain that supports farmers using sustainable practices.

Take the bus or train to Wynberg station and then take a taxi or walk. Alternatively, take the MyCiTi bus to Gardens Centre and then walk to Vineyard Road.

From the city centre, take Buitengracht Street towards Camps Bay and turn right onto Kloof Nek Road. Continue on this road until you reach Victoria Road and turn left. Then turn right onto Upper Orange Street which becomes Platteklip Street and leads onto Mill Street. Turn left onto Roeland Street (M9), then right onto Canterbury Street, and continue straight until you reach Vineyard Road on your left.
Parking options include street parking or parking in one of the nearby parking garages such as The Foundry or St Martini Gardens.
