Parents (and teachers)... you made it 👏🏼🎉 Another school term in the books.
We hope these holidays bring slower mornings, family time, plenty of laughter, and maybe a few rounds of UNO.
If you’re looking for a cosy place to gather, we’ll be here as usual with great coffee, good food, and room for everyone around the table. ✨

A lot has changed over the years. We’ve grown, shifted, renovated, experimented, and continued finding new ways to do what we love.
Through every version of Alchemy, you’ve been there alongside us. Whether you’ve been visiting for years or only recently joined us, we’re grateful that you’re here. ✨
And while these photos look back at where we’ve come from, there are a few exciting developments taking shape behind the scenes that will soon become part of Alchemy’s next chapter.
More on that another time ☕
If you’ve got your own Alchemy throwbacks tucked away in your camera roll, please share them with us!

What people say
Alchemy Coffee Roasters is a coffee shop that truly lives up to its name. The owner, Conrad Hoffmann, has brought his passion for coffee from Australia to Cape Town and transformed it into an artisanal experience. What sets Alchemy apart is their commitment to roasting single origin beans in-house several times a week, ensuring the freshest and most flavorful cup of coffee possible.
The inspiration behind the name "Alchemy" comes from Paulo Coelho's book "The Alchemist", which speaks to the magical process of transformation and creation - something that can be experienced with every sip of their handcrafted coffee.
Conrad's dedication to his craft is evident in every aspect of Alchemy Coffee Roasters, from the carefully selected beans to the expertly brewed cups of coffee. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply looking for a great cup of joe, Alchemy is definitely worth a visit.
