What people say
KAUAI is a health food restaurant and smoothie & juice bar that has been serving Cape Town since 1996. The restaurant was started by three Californian college friends with a mission to make healthy eating easy and accessible. Today, KAUAI operates under the multi-brand food group, Real Foods (Pty) Ltd, and continues to deliver on its promise of serving nourishing salads, wraps, warm bowls, and nutrient-rich smoothies.
What sets KAUAI apart from other restaurants is their focus on real foods. All menu items are carefully developed to highlight the naturally delicious flavours of fresh locally sourced whole ingredients free from added sugar, unhealthy fats and preservatives. The chicken and eggs used in their dishes are free-range while their whey protein is GMO-free.
At KAUAI, customer service excellence is a top priority. Their new slogan "Made Naturally" highlights their renewed focus on delivering the very best in food and nutrition. They are passionate about health and wellbeing and promise to serve only the best quality seasonal ingredients that are free of GMOs, additives, preservatives, artificial colourants and flavourants.
KAUAI is committed to maintaining a supply chain that supports farmers using sustainable practices and locally sourced fresh produce where possible. Their aim is to inspire a ‘real food’ revolution.
Overall, KAUAI offers an exceptional dining experience for those who value healthy eating without sacrificing taste or quality. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious meals made from real foods while supporting sustainable practices, then KAUAI should be at the top of your list!
