Our Korean fried chicken bao is one of those dishes we always look forward to sharing. Crispy chicken, soft bao, house-made kimchi, ginger, pickled cucumber, fresh herb salad, Japanese mayo and a finishing touch of togarashi.

JUNIOR SOUS CHEF
We are looking for a motivated Junior Sous Chef who is confident working in a busy, high-pressure kitchen environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.
PASTRY CHEF
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef with a strong eye for detail, consistency and presentation, and a genuine love for pastry and desserts.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH POSITIONS:
• Relevant culinary qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ professional kitchen experience
• Must live in the Durbanville / surrounding area
• Own reliable transport
• Contactable references
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team
• Excellent cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Able to perform consistently in a high-pressure environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Professional and reliable

This Heritage Day, Chef Martin and his team are celebrating South African flavour with a special three-course Braai Day menu.

To get to the restaurant located at Diemersdal Wine Estate in Durbanville, there are two main options available.
Public Transport:
For those using public transport, take a train or bus to Durbanville station. From the station, get a taxi or Uber to Diemersdal Wine Estate. Alternatively, you can take a bus to the intersection of Racecourse Road and Koeberg Road. From there, walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Diemersdal Wine Estate where The Farm Eatery is located.
Driving/Parking:
If driving from Cape Town central, take the N1 in the direction of Paarl and continue until Exit 10 toward Durbanville/Bellville. Turn left onto M13 and continue straight on until reaching Vissershok Road where you should turn right and follow signs leading to Diemersdal Wine Estate.
Free parking is available at the estate.
Please note that the above directions do not mention The Farm Eatery at Diemersdal by name but will lead visitors directly to its location on the estate.
