To reach the Roeland Square area in Cape Town using public transportation, take any bus or train that stops at Cape Town Station. From there, you can walk towards the square which is approximately 1.3 km away.
If you prefer to drive, take N1 highway and follow signs for Cape Town City Centre until you reach Buitengracht Street. Drive straight along Buitengracht Street until you reach Roeland Street and turn left. Drive a short distance and look out for parking spaces available on the side of the road.
Once you are in Roeland Square, look around for the cafe as it will not be mentioned specifically in the directions provided above.
