KAUAI is a health food restaurant and smoothie & juice bar that was started by three Californian college friends and reached South African shores in 1996. The restaurant operates under the multi-brand food group, Real Foods (Pty) Ltd, with the mission to make healthy eating easy and accessible by serving nourishing salads, wraps, warm bowls and nutrient-rich smoothies made from locally sourced whole ingredients free from added sugar, unhealthy fats and preservatives. KAUAI is passionate about health and wellbeing and promises nothing but the very best in food and nutrition, while maintaining a supply chain that supports farmers using sustainable practices and locally sourced fresh produce where possible.

To get to the health food restaurant and smoothie & juice bar at Cavendish Square in Cape Town, you can take public transport such as a bus or train to Claremont station. From there, it is a short walk to Cavendish Square.
If you are driving, you can park at the Cavendish Square parking garage or find street parking nearby. To get there, take the M3 towards Claremont and exit onto Protea Road. Follow the road until you reach Cavendish Square on your left.
Once at Cavendish Square, the health food restaurant and smoothie & juice bar is located inside the mall. Simply follow signs for the food court until you reach your destination.
