To get to Dean Street in Cape Town via public transport, visitors can take a train or bus to Cape Town station and then transfer to the MyCiti bus service. Take the 101 or 103 bus and get off at the nearest stop to Dean Street. From there, it is a short walk to the ice cream shop and coffee shop.

For those driving, take Nelson Mandela Boulevard towards Woodstock and exit onto Roodebloem Road. Turn left onto Main Road and continue straight until turning right onto Alma Road. Alternatively, visitors can park at The Palms parking garage located on Palmyra Road just off of Main Road in Observatory. From there, they can catch a taxi or walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Dean Street.
