Sadly, Scarpetta is officially closed.
We always said that Scarpetta was our Dad’s happy place. The Big Boss fed his community like our famiglia. He formed a multitude of beautiful friendships over his bountiful bowls of pasta. Scarpetta was his kitchen, his heart, his soul and his dinning room. He loved cooking nostalgic seasonal Roman food. We would huddle around our old dinning room table eating Dad’s food as Scarpetta as if we were at home. The food antics that went on in our famiglia was fulled by our obsession with fantastic food. We loved seeing people sitting around our old dinning room table enjoying our Dad’s food and charisma as we always have. Grazie, Thank you 🫶🏼
We’ll be sharing our Dad’s and nonno Lello’s food ideologies & Italian way of life via . We’ll be opening a new store soon as an ode to The Big Boss.
