Kantien’s winter warmer special has officially launched. The Dutchman’s delight is our take on a classic steak house special. Grab a 300g sirloin, crispy chips, beer battered onion ring with a choice of peppercorn or chimichurri sauce and finish it off with a classic ice cream and chocolate sauce for dessert. All this for only R350 per person.

We’re ready to welcome our littlest patrons to our school holiday club at Kantien. Between 12:00 and 15:00 Monday to Thursday, bring the little ones and yourselves for lunch. We will be showing kiddies shows on the TV’s and giving the kids some dough to roll and shape that we will cook in our woodfire pizza oven. Mom and dad get to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with their lunch while the kids are busy and get treated to ice cream for dessert. Inside seating is also available, should the weather not play along!

To get to the location on Papegaai Street in Stellenbosch, there are a few options for transportation.
For those using public transport, take the train to Stellenbosch station and then walk towards Victoria Street. From there, turn left onto Andringa Street and continue straight until you reach Papegaai Street. The location will be on your right-hand side.
If driving, take the N2 towards Stellenbosch and exit at Exit 33 towards Baden Powell Drive/R310/Stellenbosch. Continue straight until you reach Adam Tas Road and turn right. Follow Adam Tas Road until you reach Merriman Avenue and turn left. Continue straight until you reach Andringa Street and turn right. Finally, turn left onto Papegaai Street where you will find parking available nearby.
