The Cape 1000 Show & Shine event held on 15 March at the Cape Town Hotel School was the public kickoff to the larger Cape 1000 motoring rally. It featured a display of more than 70 classic, vintage, and modern high-performance cars—ranging from Ferraris and Porsches to Lamborghinis—allowing spectators to view them up close before the rally began.
The event ran from 2pm to 4pm and was free to attend, serving as one of the main public highlights of the rally, which then continued over several days through scenic routes across the Western Cape.
