Some cakes are just pure joy. They are made to be eaten immediately and without conscience—yet with full consciousness. This particular lump of joy had a solid, icky Bar-One ganache. The cake was still warm, making the ganache ooze out for dramatic effect. The pot needed to be cleaned by little children, because over the weekend, we are unprofessional. We do this in order to to be professional again.
