We are thrilled to share that our Executive Chef, James Gaag, has been invited to cook at CONVERGENCE, a landmark global culinary event hosted by the two Michelin-starred in Copenhagen, taking place later this week.
CONVERGENCE brings together more than 60 of the world’s leading chefs, all ranked within The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Top 100, for a five-day collaboration that celebrates shared knowledge, creativity and the unifying power of food.
Commenting on the invitation, says, “It’s a privilege to be part of a gathering like CONVERGENCE, alongside chefs I deeply respect from around the world. Opportunities like this remind us how powerful food can be as a shared language, and I’m grateful to represent La Colombe in a space that values collaboration and exchange.”

To get to Main Road in Cape Town, you can take a bus or taxi from the city center and alight at the stop near the intersection of Main Road and another major road. Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take the highway that leads towards Cape Town and exit at the Main Road off-ramp. There is a paid parking lot adjacent to Main Road for those who arrive by car.
