To reach Franklin Street in Cape Town, you have a few options for public transport and driving/parking:
Public Transport:
1. Bus: Take the bus to the Cape Town Civic Centre bus stop. From there, walk southeast on Hertzog Boulevard towards Darling Street. Continue straight onto Darling Street until you reach Franklin Street.
2. Train: Take the train to Cape Town Station. From there, head northeast on Strand Street and continue straight until you reach Darling Street. Turn left onto Darling Street and continue until you reach Franklin Street.
Driving/Parking:
If you are driving to Franklin Street, keep in mind that parking can be limited in the area. Here are a couple of options:
1. Parking Garage: There is a parking garage located on Darling Street, near the intersection with Buitenkant Street. You can park your vehicle there and then walk to Franklin Street.
2. On-street Parking: Look for available on-street parking spaces along Darling Street or nearby streets such as Canterbury Street or Sir Lowry Road. Be sure to check for any parking restrictions or time limits before leaving your vehicle.
