Who would've thought we'd say anything good about decaf, but we must admit - this straight Columbian decaf roasted this week is pretty darn tasteful.
The beans are rich in colour, and the aroma is somewhat sweet.
If decaf is your thing, then make sure to pop in this weekend for a try. We have it on the machine and to take home.

Hats on, heads down and on the grind. It’s been a busy one this week, preparing all the on going orders and roasting up a storm. Feeling blessed with our ever growing coffee family.

Our little home has become a bit of a hub, and with our Stay and Play initiative, we hope to let everyone enjoy their time playing table tennis, darts or boules on the lawn with their friends and family.
Our tables and all games are available to play all week, especially on weekends. Rent the whole lot and create a tournament, host a birthday party or any other groovy idea you might have. We are here for collaboration a friendly atmoshphere.
P.s Enjoy a fancy coffee while you play ;)

Did you know Africa is the birth place of coffee. Originating in Ethiopia, other countires in the African continent hold some seriously unique flavours that cannot be found anywhere else. The optimal climate and humidity, which is a result of most farms being over 4,000 feet above sea level, play a huge role in the distinct flavours and quality of coffee. As Africa is such a large continent, some countries have micro climates. which in turn, create these distinct flavours we love.
We aren't only using African beans, but we do get our base flavour profile from them. Knowing how special each country's harvest is makes us more proud to be roasting their beans.

Our chimney puffing away as our roaster produces the liquid gold we all know and love.
Times are changing and speeding up, so it's pretty special being able to still work with something somewhat hands on. From the fire, to the chimney smoke, its like alchemy in creation.

See ya'll tomorrow for all the vibes at for First Thursdays. As we dive deeper into all things Spring, we can expect picnic atmosphere, live music and all the food!
As per usual, our doors will be open and our roaster most probably cooking! Come on down for a warm drink of your choice and a selection of treats to top it off.

Something magical coming from our trusty roaster recently. Like we usually do, an African rich with South American influence blend, but this time it's on another level.
Well rounded, hints of chocolate, with a touch of fruity acidity.

**Travel Directions to Cnr. Main Road & Katzenellenbogen Road, Noordhoek**
**By Car:**
1. Start on the M3 highway heading towards Muizenberg.
2. Take the exit for Ou Kaapse Weg (R44) and follow the signs towards Noordhoek.
3. Continue on Ou Kaapse Weg until you reach the T-junction with Main Road (M65).
4. Turn left onto Main Road and continue straight for about 5 km.
5. Look for Katzenellenbogen Road on your right; the destination will be at the corner of Main Road and Katzenellenbogen Road.
6. Parking is available along Main Road or in nearby designated areas.
**By Public Transport:**
1. Take a train to Simon's Town Station or a bus that services the area.
2. From Simon's Town, catch a local bus or taxi service heading towards Noordhoek.
3. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Main Road and Katzenellenbogen Road.
4. The destination will be within walking distance from where you are dropped off.
Make sure to check local transport schedules for any updates or changes before your journey!
