Please note that during the period of the ongoing roadworks directly in front of our beautiful restaurant, Jackson And Black, Strand will temporarily only be serving breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays.
Breakfast service will not be available from Monday - Thursday, and will only open from 11AM - however Friday to Sunday we will be open from 9AM ☕🍳
We are, however, still open to pre-booked morning functions and private events during the week.
While the roadworks may have disrupted the front of our shop, our doors remain open, our kitchen remains warm, and we look forward to continuing to welcome you for great food and good company.

1. From Cape Town, take the N2 highway towards Somerset West.
2. Exit at the R44 (Somerset West/Strand) and continue on the R44 towards Strand.
3. Follow the signs for Strand until you reach Beach Road.
4. There are several parking areas along Beach Road where you can find street parking or designated lots.
**By Public Transport:**
1. Take a train from Cape Town to Strand Station on the MetroRail service (check schedules for times).
2. Upon arrival at Strand Station, exit and walk towards Beach Road, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk.
3. Alternatively, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare service from the station directly to your destination on Beach Road.
