If you are using public transport, take the train to the Observatory station and then walk for about 5 minutes towards Main Road where you'll find the shop. Alternatively, you can take a bus or taxi to Main Road Observatory and walk for about 3 minutes to reach the location.
If you are driving, head towards the N2 highway and take exit 8 onto Liesbeek Parkway. Keep right and follow the signs for Observatory/Mowbray. Turn left onto Station Road and continue until you reach Main Road. Turn left again onto Main Road and drive for around 500m until you see the shop on your right.
There is no parking available directly outside the store but there is some street parking nearby if you're lucky enough to find a spot. Alternatively, there are several paid parking lots in the area within walking distance of Hettie Otto's Cakes & Bakery.
