The rugby’s on, the doors are open and apparently your house is the house today.
Charlie’s Crispy Chicken Wings, Apple & Sage Sausage Rolls and Cheese & Onion Marmalade Barrels. Put everything out and let people help themselves.
A couple of hosting tricks we swear by: pop out smaller batches as you need them so the food stays hot, and keep plenty of napkins nearby, especially if wings are involved.
No sit-down lunch. No three-course menu. No spending kick-off in the kitchen. Just good food, good people and somewhere sunny to watch the game.

Spring is here, and suddenly the calendar is looking wonderfully full again. 🌿
Saturday lunches. Friends in the garden. A “quick drink” that somehow turns into everyone staying for lunch. This is what life is about!
This is exactly what your freezer is for.
A Quiche Lorraine, a fresh salad on the side, something cold in your glass and you’re hosting without losing half your Saturday to the kitchen.
Life’s too good to spend it cooking. Especially when the sun’s out!

When everyone else is bringing tiny outfits and soft toys, arrive with something they'll actually use almost immidietely: a freezer full of comforting, home-style meals. No shopping, no chopping, no dishes. Just one less thing to think about while they soak up those precious newborn moments.
Because looking after the parents is one of the best ways to look after the baby. 💛

Goodbye soups, hello sunshine. (Okay... maybe just slightly fewer soups 👀 )

Before Karen was cooking, she was making milkshakes!
In Part 2 with Karen, we’re going right back to where her love of food began - making strawberry, chocolate and vanilla milkshakes for her very patient parents.
Fast-forward a few years and she’s tackling the meals we all love eating but don’t necessarily love making.
Case in point: lasagne.

The idea behind “blast frozen” is actually pretty simple.
Instead of allowing food to cool and sit around for days, our meals are frozen rapidly after preparation.
This helps us preserve the quality, flavour and texture of the food at the right moment, without needing to rely on unnecessary preservatives to extend its life.
It’s why we call blast freezing nature’s pause button.

We believe a portion should do what a portion is supposed to do: satisfy you.
Our meals are intentionally portioned so you know what you’re getting, whether you’re choosing an individual meal or something made for sharing.
