Our speciality in the nursery section is the Kei Apple tree: Indigenous, hardy, water wise and the fruit is high in vitamin C. The trees make good hedges and impenetrable barriers and the fruit makes good jam. We have three sizes at the moment at R25, R35 and R55. Discount for large orders. Come and have a look and taste the jam on a jam tart or a roosterkoek. Fisantekraal Pottery and Nursery and the Chew & Brew Cafe. 8km north of Durbanville on the R302 (Klipheuwel Rd).

Back to business at the Chew & Brew. We had some flooding but not as bad as some unfortunate folk, so it's back to business. The fires are lit, the roosterkoek is baking and the coffee is brewing. Come and warm the cockles!

Our roosterkoek is all baked in our home made rocket oven. Wood fired and cooked to perfection.
We don't claim to be the best, but many of our customers do.
Whatever the case, cooking and baking with a wood fire makes for very tasty food. Come and try for yourself.
