To get to Melkbos, you can take the R27 West Coast Road from Cape Town. If you are driving, there is parking available along the main road and in designated parking lots near the beach.
If you prefer public transport, you can take the MyCiTi bus route T01 from the Civic Centre station to Melkbosstrand. From there, it's a short walk to the main road where you can find various restaurants including a family-style option.
